#TheDelilahEffect
Samson did not lose his strength in battle. He lost it resting. This campaign is for men who want to become again what God designed —the one who holds, not the vessel that breaks— and for the wives who pray for them.
The Delilah effect is what happens to a man when he gives in to what he desires and what he feels, instead of standing firm in what God expects of him.
And Delilah isn't always a woman. Sometimes she is a phone screen at midnight, the resentment you feed every day, or the need for everyone to understand you. She is anything that, little by little, keeps cutting a man's hair while he sleeps peacefully.
The current of this world has turned many men into what I call the Fragile Male Vessel: the man who expects to be held when he was called to hold. This campaign is a call to return to the original design.
Govern your desires. A man's strength is not in his arms, but in self-mastery: "he that ruleth his spirit is better than he that taketh a city" (Proverbs 16:32).
Bring your wound to God. A man of God also cries. But he doesn't unload his pain on his wife and children: he brings it to the One who is "nigh unto them that are of a broken heart" (Psalm 34:18).
Live according to knowledge. Know your wife, get ahead of her most fragile moments, and stay when the season is hard. That is giving her honour (1 Peter 3:7).
Do you see yourself in this?
If you are a man and you feel you have been losing the strength God gave you, you don't have to stay that way or carry it alone. Write to me and let's talk.

If you are watching your husband become a Fragile Male Vessel, your weariness is real and God sees it. You can be the one who intercedes for him. Tell me your situation and I'll guide you.
